The Globe and Mail welcomed Menopause Foundation of Canada (MFC) Co-Founder and Director Trish Barbato on April 8 for a panel discussion on “Benefits and Programs – Better ways for workplaces to support the needs of women.” This was part of The Globe and Mail’s Women Lead Here event, exploring ways to bring more awareness and create action in the workplace, with a goal of advancing gender diversity in corporate Canada’s leadership ranks.

Trish made the audience aware of the annual $3.5 billion cost of menopause to the Canadian economy and how employers can support women experiencing menopause symptoms, sharing from MFC’s latest research report and our playbook for employers on how to create a menopause inclusive workplace.
