Introducing the Updated MenoPause Symptom Tracker

The Menopause Foundation of Canada (MFC) is excited to share the latest version of our MenoPause Symptom Tracker — now officially endorsed by the Canadian Menopause Society (CMS).

Originally launched in 2022 and created with the guidance of MFC’s Medical Advisory Board, the MenoPause Symptom Tracker was designed to make it easier for women to track the most common symptoms that can appear during the menopause transition.

This simple tool helps women clearly record their experiences and, most importantly, gives them something concrete to bring to their health care provider. By tracking symptoms, a woman can paint a clear picture of what she’s going through — helping to start more informed conversations and get the care she needs.

It’s important to remember that some symptoms of menopause can overlap with other health issues. For example, heart palpitations might be related to hormonal change or they could signal a heart condition that needs attention. The MenoPause Symptom Tracker makes it easy to capture these experiences and guide the right next steps with a health professional.

From Janet Ko, President and Co-Founder, Menopause Foundation of Canada:
“We want women to feel heard and supported. The MenoPause Symptom Tracker is a practical tool to help women take charge of their health and partner more effectively with their health care providers.”

From Nese Yuksel, President, Canadian Menopause Society:
“Trusted resources are essential to women’s health. By endorsing the MenoPause Symptom Tracker, the Canadian Menopause Society supports women and their clinicians in working together to improve menopause care.”

The updated MenoPause Symptom Tracker is free to use and now available for download.
