The Menopause Foundation of Canada (MFC) was honoured to receive a 2025 Breakout Program Award from Catalyst Inc. for the Menopause Works Here™ campaign, in partnership with Sun Life, the first organization to sign onto the campaign.

On stage to receive the award in New York City on March 11, 2025 were Janet Ko, President and Co-founder, MFC; Trish Barbato, Co-founder and Director, MFC; and Helena Pagano, EVP Chief People and Culture Officer, Sun Life. Team members from both MFC and Sun Life were in the attendance to celebrate this international recognition.

Menopause Works Here™  launched in 2023, in tandem with the release of MFC’s groundbreaking Menopause and Work in Canada report. MFC is grateful for the support of partners like Sun Life who are working to support women in the prime of their working lives by making workplaces menopause inclusive.
